San Diego, California - San Diego State released its men’s basketball broadcast schedule for the 2018-19 campaign on Wednesday in conjunction with the Mountain West. Highlighting the slate are a pair of games that are set to air live on ESPN2.

The Aztecs will play on CBS Sports Network 10 times, on the ESPN family of networks six times and on STADIUM twice. 

SDSU will first appear on CBS Sports Network on Dec. 22, when it plays host to Brigham Young at 4 p.m. PT. Other featured games on CBSSN include both Boise State match-ups (Jan. 5, Feb. 16), a rematch of the 2018 MW title game vs. New Mexico (Jan. 15) and both games vs. the 2017-18 MW regular-season champion, Nevada (Feb. 20, March 9).

As for San Diego State’s ESPN assignments, the Aztecs will play on ESPN2 on Feb. 5, when they are at New Mexico (9 p.m. MT), and at Colorado State on Feb. 12 (9 p.m. MT). Other high-profile dates on ESPN include contests at Fresno State (ESPNU, Jan. 22) and at UNLV (ESPNU or ESPN3, Feb. 23).

SDSU will appear twice on STADIUM, first against cross-town foe USD on Dec. 5, and then vs. Air Force on Jan. 30.

Along with the broadcast schedule, the MW revealed game day shifts to accommodate its television partners. The Aztecs had six games affected: vs. Wyoming, at Fresno State, at New Mexico, at Colorado State, vs. New Mexico, at Utah State.

The Aztecs are set to return three of their top four scorers from last season (Devin Watson, Matt Mitchell, Jalen McDaniels) and four of their top six (Watson, Mitchell, McDaniels, Jeremy Hemsley) off a 2017-18 team that went 22-11, won their Mountain West-high 11th conference title and advanced to the NCAA tournament for the seventh time in the last nine years.
